Claude is strongest for substantial knowledge and document work, software development with Claude Code, custom skills and MCP connections. A pilot should use a recurring task with visible inputs and a reviewable output.

Data and enterprise controls
Review the settings your business needs against the actual Claude offering. Enterprise documentation describes roles and audit logs; SCIM additionally depends on organization and provisioning mode. Record retention and data terms separately for each feature used.
Before rollout we document data classes, permitted accounts, connector permissions, retention, approvals and the manual fallback. A generic claim such as 'GDPR compliant' is not enough.
