Claude in practice

Claude routines: recurring work with a dependable process

Schedule reports, checks and preparation tasks with the right execution environment, ownership, failure path and acceptance.

WERKVERSTAND / CONNECTING INTELLIGENCE

The essential answer

Werkverstand configures recurring Claude work according to data location and trigger. Cowork tasks, Claude Code routines and local schedules are deliberately distinguished.

From idea into operations

A clear next step.

You know what is being built, how it is checked and who takes over.

01

Understand

One task. A clear goal.

We establish the starting point, owners and intended output.

02

Assess

Ask the right questions first.

Data, permissions, quality and effort shape the right approach.

03

Connect

Components become a workflow.

We build, test and document the agreed process.

04

Operate

Make it dependable every day.

Your team takes over with approvals, fallback and clear ownership.

Prepare the task for repetition

A recurring report needs an unambiguous time range, current sources and a defined output location. We specify behavior for unchanged data, missing access and unexpected results. A schedule does not make an unclear process dependable. A complete manual trial must produce the intended output first.

Choose the appropriate execution model

Claude Code routines can trigger cloud work through schedules, APIs or GitHub events and remain in research preview. Cowork has its own scheduling route for knowledge work. Local files and tools may still require an available desktop. We document the exact variant, account, connections and execution limits.

Include failure reporting and pause controls

The workflow includes an owner, budget limits and understandable failure notices. Duplicate events must not create duplicate external effects. The task may prepare reports or code changes, while publishing and merging remain separately controlled. Unchanged results receive an appropriate notification rule instead of unnecessary alerts after every run.

Verify the real trigger through to the result

Handover includes schedule, time zone, next run, output format and test evidence. We verify an actual recurring run, pause and resume. For tasks with local dependencies, device interruption is included. The system check helps choose a recurring bottleneck with a clear data basis.
