  • a simple fixed calculation already solves the task without AI

Choose the way of working from the output

A conversation is often enough for an explanation or short draft. Work can be a starting point for a finished briefing, file or multi-step assignment. For a software change, we assess the Codex route. This follows the official product orientation; the actual account must establish which tools are available in practice.

Separate model choice, access and operation

OpenAI documents separate access boundaries for ChatGPT, Codex interfaces and the API. A model available in one interface therefore does not establish access everywhere else. For a pilot, record the product, sign-in, model, data sources and destination. Switching models should address a measured bottleneck rather than merely add a newer version number to the purchasing list.

The data path determines the review

The API documentation distinguishes categories including abuse-monitoring logs and application state. These do not establish blanket retention rules for ChatGPT or local devices. We review the actual data categories and services used. A provider contract protecting certain business data replaces neither review of an additional connection nor clear rules for export and onward sharing.

Example: a supplier briefing as a first pilot

A procurement team provides approved requirements and supplier proposals. The pilot produces a comparison table with evidenced differences, open questions and traceable calculations. Procurement retains the decision. Measure completeness, source errors and time to the reviewed briefing. Only after that works does it make sense to consider a recurring routine or a custom integration.

A starting point for your business
