From assignment to usable output

The official Work introduction recommends tasks with a clear objective, sources and a reviewable output. We translate that into an assignment: which recipient needs which file, in what condition and by when? This avoids producing many answers while leaving the actual follow-through unchanged for employees.

Local and cloud execution have different access

A cloud task does not inherit local files or browser logins from the device. Local execution can use permitted device resources; relevant content may still be sent to OpenAI services. Local therefore does not mean fully offline processing. Select and document the execution location according to the pilot’s sources, tools and organisational rules.

Choose the connected identity deliberately

Connected apps use the authorised identity. A personal account can have different permissions from a shared connection. App availability, allowed actions and confirmation before changes are separate controls. We record who may reach which data and cause which effects. New connections are therefore not assessed only by convenience.

Example: turn notes into a reviewable briefing

A team provides approved project status, meeting notes and a fixed briefing template. ChatGPT separates facts, risks and open decisions. The owner checks every commitment and supplies missing information. Assess the research and rework still required before acceptance. The number of generated pages is not a suitable success measure.

Stabilise the workflow before expanding
